Climate Justice

The principle that the effects of climate change should be addressed in a way that is equitable and fair, especially for vulnerable and marginalised populations who are most affected by climate change but often lack the resources to adapt to it. Climate justice also involves acknowledging the historical and ongoing contributions of developed countries to climate change and their responsibility to take the lead in mitigating its effects.
