COP

The Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The COP is the supreme body of the UNFCCC, made up of signatory nations. The COP meets annually to advance negotiations on climate change, which includes everything from national emissions reduction goals to adaptation, climate aid, technology transfer, funding for loss and damage and the rules governing international emissions trading.
