Science-Based Targets Initiative – a standalone corporate climate action organisation that creates recognised frameworks that enable companies and financial institutions to set emissions reduction targets that are in line with the science of climate change. SBTi was originally founded by the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, the We Mean Business Coalition, the World Resources Institute and the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF).
